The Cagliari Free Zone (CFZ) will take part in the third edition of Selecting Italy – Foreign Investment Attraction and Regional Value Chains, taking place on 4–5 November 2025 at the Generali Convention Center in Trieste.
Organized by the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces in collaboration with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the event gathers national institutions, regional agencies, and international investors to discuss strategies and opportunities for foreign direct investment (FDI) in Italy.
Participating as part of the Investment Attraction Task Force, the CFZ will present Sardinia’s growing role as a customs-free industrial and logistics hub within the Mediterranean, offering ideal conditions for high-tech, clean-tech, and deep-tech industries. The CFZ’s presence highlights Sardinia’s potential to host sustainable, export-oriented manufacturing projects that benefit from the island’s strategic position between Europe, the MENA region, and the UK.
During the networking and business matching sessions on the dedicated b2match platform, the CFZ team will meet with investors, technology partners, and institutions to explore new collaborations in green industry, smart logistics, and advanced manufacturing.
